The Congress for the New Urbanism is the leading organization promoting walkable, neighborhood-based development as an antidote to formless sprawl. CNU is the institution that provides its members with the tools to deliver on the desire for traditional, healthy, prosperous, culturally vibrant, and better-performing regions, cities, towns and neighborhoods.
Our relationship with our members allows us to do more than just talk about the problems of the built environment. Together, through our Initiatives and the annual Congress gathering, we are creating tools that make it easier to put New Urbanism into practice around the world.
